Carlo Zauli Retrospective in Tokyo




A major retrospective of Italian ceramic artist Carlo Zauli(1926-2002) is now showing in Tokyo at the The National Museum of Modern Art until August 3rd. Although I cannot say I am familiar with Zauli's work, I do know he was a major influence on Fukami Sueharu and countless others; I show my ignorance here of my Japan ceramic 'tunnel vision.' I will be going---urged to do so--and very much looking forward to seeing Zauli's work. In today's Japan Times:
